Friday - the Color Factory, Ground Zero, Brooklyn, YAMS DAY!
Our last full day in the city was definitely one to remember.
Today's outfit consisted of: the same hat/scarf/coat as previously worn, a baby blue fluffy jumper (H&M), leather trousers (Topshop) and my Nike Airforce.

Our first stop was the insta-famous museum; The Color Factory. This a pop-up interactive art exhibition with brightly coloured room-sized installations, each themed around the concept of colour. At the pricey end of $40 I would've expected to have been there longer than we were, however it was very fun and included a lot of freebies. My favourite room was the one filled with balloons, with written messages of wishes from young children, just because they were all so cute. The other innovative idea was having to register for a card which took timed images throughout which were delivered straight to your email, speeding up the process and keeping groups flowing through steadily.
We then got the subway down to the Ground Zero memorial site. Since my last visit this area is now completely different - It definitely felt more commercialised, in a very odd way.
The 9/11 memorial never fails to take your breath away because of how huge the space really is 💔. We spent a while here paying our respects, and then went on to visit the newish Westfield Shopping Mall. I just wanted to view inside here as on my last visit it was under construction and seemed like a very interesting building (image 4 is the inside).
We then headed down to Brooklyn Bridge - just in time for sunset! This was a beautiful experience as it looked as if the city was glowing. After the typical tourist pics, we ventured over to have a little explore and something to eat. Out of everywhere we had eaten that week, the Mexican we visited was the best food by miles (restaurant = Pedro's, image 7).
My evening outfit consisted of: the same 'GG' tights as previously mentioned, faux leather tie jacket (Topshop), nude corset-style mini dress (PLT), diamanté mini cross-body bag (ASOS)
Yams day is the annual concert and celebration of American music producer ASAP Yams' life and legacy he left behind. Acts through the rap and RnB genre all come together for one night down in Brooklyn at the Barclays Centre and luckily enough we got to be in the city for this special night.
